Jean-Émile Laboureur was born in Nantes. Laboureur made his first lithographs under the watchful eye of Toulouse-Lautrec in 1897, and the influence of Toulouse-Lautrec is evident in his early work. Laboureur founded the group Les Peintres-Graveurs Indépendants. His main output as a printmaker consists of etchings, copper engravings, and wood engravings. Jean-Émile Laboureur was the first printmaker to be strongly influenced by Cubism. There were major retrospectives of his work in 1991 and 1996, both in Nantes. His work reflects a stunning mixture of art deco modernism and cubism, and is the favorite of collectors throughout the world.

Laboureur's prints are available for easily five times the price in art stores--now you can own high quality digital files for a fraction of the cost.

Please note that downloads will be available for 24 hours or 2 download attempts after purchase. Download link will be available immediately after purchase is concluded.
