These rare jungle animal medleys were from eighteenth century german textbooks and learning tomes. The detail is amazing, and the artist clearly adored animals. These images were in terrible disrepair; each image from this jungle series was painstakingly restored and retouched so that they have come to life again, and will render beautiful prints.
