Terms
1. All sales are final. Color Bakery makes each and every product custom at our customer's request, therefore we do not offer returns or store credit. Merchandise damaged in shipping will be happily replaced.
2. These are handmade pieces of art, and they may not be absolutely "perfect." Part of the charm of handcrafted, handmade, custom art is the fact that they are made with human hands, and not from an assembly line. Further, not every substrate (surface) receives ink the same way. Therefore, there may be slight variances or tiny imperfections. If you want pure flawlessness, handcrafted art is not the way to go. :)
3. If you have special instructions about your mural (tile dividing lines, cropping, etc,) you *must* tell us before you place your order, or send us a note with your order so we may know exactly what your specific concerns are.
4. We cannot guarantee exact color. Due to the possible variances of color resolution on different computer monitors, in addition to varying surfaces receiving ink differently, we urge customers who are particularly concerned about color to order a test tile or test item first.
5. If we are printing your work: we cannot promise optimum results if you do not send us a high resolution image from which to print. Any image less than two megabytes in size may compromise the end result. We cannot be held responsible if you are unhappy with the results because you have supplied us with a low resolution image. We also cannot be held responsible for particular cropping preferences if you do not send the image properly sized and cropped to your specifications.
6. Cropping of images may be required to preserve image integrity. With over one thousand image choices and hundreds of product choices, we want to ensure our customers can order any image on any product. However, proportionally, not all images are a perfect fit for each product. That is why some artful, careful cropping *may* be required in some cases to preserve the integrity of the image without distortion, to fit a certain product size.
7. Mural Packaging and Shipping. If you are purchasing a mural for a gift, we cannot be responsible for shipping to a third party if you open the box and unwrap the tiles for reshipping, giftwrapping, etc, the integrity of the packing will be compromised. The tiles are specially, carefully and professionally packed and, once the box is opened, we cannot be responsible for shipping to a third party.
8. If you are buying SAMPLE SALE items, please note: No returns or store credit. We will replace any merchandise damaged in shipping. Sample Sale items are from trade show displays. The savings are quite huge, and once they are gone, they are gone for good. These are not used items, and we have looked them over carefully for flaws--as they were on display. When items are on display, some imperfections--small ones--may arise. No items that we find wanting are ever offered. However, we cannot guarantee absolute and flawless perfection, but we're pretty certain, after looking over each item carefully, that they meet our stringent quality requirements.
Coupons are not applicable for Sample Sales.
9. Please add custom images to the proper custom field at checkout. When adding your purchase(s) to the shopping cart, you agree to enter your selected image name in the proper field; in other words, a Color Bakery image title must be entered in the Color Bakery image title field, and your uploaded image number/title must be entered in the "my uploaded art/photography" title field. Failure to do this means that the item will NOT BE SHIPPED. If you are unsure, please don't hesitate to email us. We will get back to you ASAP.
10. Custom orders *may* take up to four weeks, but usually two. The average order is two weeks, but please don't get concerned if it takes up to four. All of our work is made by hand and custom designed so please allow for that. :)
11. All orders over $25 will automatically be shipped via UPS. Important: PO Boxes may be entered for shipping ONLY, NOT for billing purposes, UNLESS your credit card is billed/attached to a PO Box address.
12. If you enter a PO Box as your shipping address, your order will be automatically shipped via the United States Postal Service, even though we traditionally ship UPS.
TO OUR FRIENDS UP NORTH IN CANADA:
Shipping charges are exactly the same as those in the Continental United States. Please select "Domestic US and Canada Shipping" from the dropdown menu.
TO OUR NON-CANADIAN INTERNATIONAL FRIENDS:
1. You MUST select "international shipping" from the dropdown menu provided. "Regular shipping" is ONLY for Continental US and Canadian customers. If you do not select international shipping and you are having your order shipped outside the United States and Canada, your order will not be processed until the proper amount is received.
2. Orders under four pounds (4 lbs) will be automatically shipped US Global Priority (International Express).
3. For orders over forty-four lbs, you will need to email us for the rate. This is due to the many different shipping requirements per country, once a package exceeds the forty-four pound weight mark.
